Is Canon R50 a great camera for photographer? I would said there are better cameras out there from Canon especially those with larger Megapixels (more than 24 MP) and better camera’s quality but Canon R50 is the only camera which I can afford to buy with limited budget (Ringgit 3000+) up until now and it basically has most of the features a photographer needs in order to take high quality pictures! I believe there are more updates coming especially on the lens part where I will buy longer distance and higher image quality lens in the near future if I have enough money to do so. But for this moment lets enjoy and see by yourself what is the true quality of this camera when taking cat pictures outdoor under bright lighting condition.
The autofocus feature from Canon R50 is focusing on the cat and makes the background blur.
The cats are walking toward me and the stabilization part of this Camera is simply excellent. As a starter you really do not need to do much as this camera will automatically taking care of the ISO, Shutter speed and other features while you concentrate on aiming at the animals and clicking on the button!
This picture is taking in not so bright area and the outline of the cat is simply amazing.
No matter you are a photographer who wants to display your photos online or want to sell them and make some money make no mistake this is the only Camera which you need before you get into the next level with higher quality camera! I would give the picture quality of this camera 5 out of 5 at outdoor where there are enough light shinning on the objects.
